Sgt Charles Bull Letters & Pictures

 

This section is the story of a 5th Royal Tank Regiment soldier (Sgt Charles Bull) who joined the army on the 4th July 1938 was posted to the 3rd RTR reserve, Then mobilised on the 1st September 1939 and posted to the Fifth.

He was killed in action on the 7th September 1944 at Gaverre Belgium. He was serving with "B" Squadron at the time. The OC of "B" Squadron Major Dennis Cockbain remembers him well (May 2009) and with affection.
