The Squadron was formed in Uxbridge in 1797 as a Yeomanry Unit and has evolved over the last two hundred years. It has a proud history and has served with distinction in the Boer, First and Second World wars, winning Two Victoria Crosses and being awarded 12 battle Honours.
On 1st April 2006 the Signals Troop based in the Booker TA Centre in High Wycombe became part of 47 (Middlesex Yeomanry) Signal Squadron.
On the 1st April 2008 the Territorial Army celebrated it's 100 years anniversary.
