This piece of land was given to the community by Mr. John Boughton and, in recognition, has been named 'Boughton's Peace'.
This area had been planted with fifteen trees purchased with funds left over from Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee Celebrations in 1978. Unfortunately, the land had become overgrown and unkempt. Tree surgery work and thinning, along with grass seeding, took place and a bench seat installed. This was funded by grants from the Bucks County Council Community Leaders' Fund and the Community Chest Fund,
It is the Parish Council's wish that this area is enjoyed by all with it's elevated views.
