We are a lively group of women of all ages and from all walks of life. Our members are not only from the village of Ashendon but also Bicester and Fleet Marston.
If you are looking for something new to do why not come and join us at our interesting & fun monthly meetings which are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the village hall at 7.30pm.
It's an opportunity once a month for all ladies to enjoy each other's company. We even have a glass of wine on offer!

Xmas Party On a cold December night members assembled in a gaily decorated Village Hall for a night of carol singing and Christmas music ably led by L & E ( aka Linda and Ellen). This was followed by a shared supper, wine and presents from beneath the tree. The festive theme was evident throughout and noise levels rose as members enjoyed a most sociable evening chaired by our new president, June Masters.
New Year Dinner 2012 Gatehangers Inn was the venue for Ashendon WI members who enjoyed a well cooked celebration dinner. This was followed by a talk, often amusing, sometimes moving, given by local resident, Peter Short on the subject of his Channel swim attempt. We were all impressed by his bravery, in facing both the dark waves and icy cold water, and also a roomful of Ashendon ladies. Both showed his true courage. Altogether £60,000 was raised for Aspire which supports spinal injuries rehabilitation, with Peter personally raising £2570.
