Introduction

The league is responsible for table tennis competition activities in Aylesbury and within a surrounding area of Mid Bucks, West Herts and Mid Oxons bounded by Bierton, Tring, Bellingdon, Princes Risborough, Chinnor, Thame, Brill and Quainton. It is affiliated to the ETTA and the Bucks County TTA.


The League runs an Open Table Tennis Club on Friday evenings (between 1st week of September and the 1st week of July) at The Elmhurst Centre in Fairfax Crescent, Aylesbury. For a small charge you may practice table tennis and train. Junior sessions run from 5.30 to 7 pm; adult sessions from 7.30 pm.

It is also associated with a similar facility run in Tring by the Tring Table Tennis Club on Monday afternoons; juniors two sessions 5 to 6 pm and 6 to 7 pm and adults 7 to 8 pm. Quailified coaching is frequently available with these sessions.

The main League and the Knock out Trophy competitions are run during the table tennis season, September to April. In addition Summer competitions are run on Mondays and Wednesdays from late May to early August.

The Riddell Trophy is a early Spring tournament run for the best young players (under 15 years) from the League catchment area and there is a similar competition for Juniors (under 18 years).

Annual Individual Championships are run for Senior and Veteran players.
