Founded in 1963, this association exists to promote interest in the organ and organ music.
Membership is open to everyone interested in the organ, whether players or not.
Membership subs (payable in September of each year) is £15.00 for full membership, £10 for concessions, students and family members. (Correct for Sept 2007).
To achieve its objective, the association provides a monthly programme of visits to churches, and elsewhere, to play organs, holds lectures, arranges recitals and provides social functions.
The Association is affiliated to the Incorporated Association of Organists.
The association provides a printed annual programme of events, four newsletters a year and specific detailed information concerning such things as the annual all day coach outing, taking us further afield, and the annual dinner.
Activities are planned by a Committee, which is elected at the AGM convened in October.
