A late Happy New Year to all Haddenham Players fans!
Hope you enjoyed this year's pantomime, Cinderella. One young audience member thought it "magical" and I know we got plenty of laughs from the older members of the audience, so it was a huge success. I bet you didn't realise that half the case were newcomers to the stage!
Looking forward to 2009 - the Haddenham Youth Theatre will perform two plays on 15th and 16th May in the Community Junior School. The Juniors will perform Beauty and the Beast, one of the best fairytales in my view, and the Seniors will put on the immensely popular Blood Brothers.
Haddenham Players will be putting on a massive production with a cast of thousands (well, almost) on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Tithe Barn at Church End. Margaret Watkins has written a play about the Haddenham murder of 1828 based on the research of Alan Rose, Chairman of Haddenham Museum Trust. Although clashing with the beer festival on 4th July, we're sure it'll be a huge success.
