Where can rubbish be disposed of legally?
Buckinghamshire County Council provides nine Household Waste and Recycling Centres across the County (see addresses and opening times). Any household or garden waste that you have generated can be taken to one of these sites provided it is transported by yourself in a domestic vehicle.
All sites provide recycling for glass, paper, cardboard, green waste, scrap metal, wood, oil, domestic batteries and car batteries.
For more bulky items of household rubbish, such as furniture and electrical goods, all District Councils offer a chargeable removal service.
