It is with great sadness that we have to report the recent death of John Henniker's wife Laurel.
The club wishes to extend its condolences to John,his family and friends and our thoughts are with them at this time.
The funeral will take place at Amersham Crematorium on Wednesday February 15th at 9.15 am, and then afterwards at Marlow Bowls Club. The family have requested family flowers only, donations can be made to the Iain Rennie Hospice.
Short Mat Bowls will be taking place this Tuesday and Thursday evening as George Malster has kindly offered to open up and Wednesday evening league bowls will be taking place as normal. If you are unsure please contact any of the normal short mat contacts for verification. Having said that please note that the Wednesday afternoon session has been cancelled this week.
So to recap bowling Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings but not Wednesday afternoon.
It is with great sadness that we report the death of Jo Fiander. Jo died on Thursday, 22nd December following a stroke.
Jo was for many years a very popular member of the Short Mat section of the club and will be sadly missed.
The funeral is to be held at Amersham Crematorium on Tuesday, 10th January 2012 at 10.15am
