Each June, the villages of Penn and Tylers Green host a 7 mile road race and a fun run to raise money for charity. These races, which have been held every year since 1984, have raised a total of over £220,000. Click here to see a list of the charity and funds raised for each year.
Planning for the 2012 event is now underway. The date has been fixed as Sunday 24th June. And we have chosen the charity to benefit from the funds raised. With nominations received from several very worthy causes, it was not an easy decision. After careful deliberation, Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC) has been selected.
