Each June, the villages of Penn and Tylers Green host a 7 mile road race and a fun run to raise money for charity. These races, which have been held every year since 1984, have raised a total of over £200,000.
The 2010 event took place on Sunday 20th June, with funds raised from the event going to Aces Wheelchair Basketball Club. Preliminary estimates suggest that £10,000 was raised for our chosen charity, Aces Wheelchair Basketball Club.
The 2009 event also raised £10,000, in this case for the Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund.
