Message of Thanks

This year's Penn Seven and Super Fun Run would not have been the success it was without the help of many people.

Firstly our thanks go to all those who took part.  The event depends on your continued support and we really appreciate it.  

Secondly there are a myriad of helpers who give their time willingly to make the event happen, be they the marshals, all the helpers on the Common, or those who beaver away all year behind the scenes.  Again, many thanks to you all.  It is invidious to pick on individuals, but Peter did a wonderful job on the PA.

Thirdly there are many organisations who have helped in various ways, or who have sponsored the event, including:

• Powerade, for providing the runners' drinks after the race, and to Joe Gleeson for negotiating that they be provided
• Penn Roofing for sponsoring the medals
• Flex Scaffolding for providing the start and finish gantries
• EJ Bushell & Sons Ltd, Bespoke Joiners, who provided the materials and manpower to build the bar
• Jazzercise, for their warm-up routines
• G C Jones, Builders, for sponsoring the runners' numbers
• Palmer and Parker, a Villa Holidays company based in Penn, who sponsored the bar
• Penn First School for providing the dancers on Saturday evening
• The Strategy, David and Sarah-Jane Jones and Andy Hamwee, all from Beaconsfield, who provided the live music on Saturday evening.

We are very glad to acknowledge the support we received from these organisations.
