"Hannibal - Scourge of Rome"

David spoke to the Club last year about codes and ciphers.  He will consider Hannibal, one of the greatest generals of all time, the long struggle with Rome, the crossing of the Alps and his final defence of Carthage. The talk is illustrated and will assess why Hannibal is so highly regarded.

"Last Train to Richmond"  (Virginnia, not Surrey)
