Master Composters (Local Support)
Do you care about the environment?
Do you want to help to reduce the amount of organic waste going to landfill?
Do you enjoy home composting or would like to learn how to compost?
Come and join our friendly network of composting volunteers and act as a ‘composting ambassador’ in your local community.
Bucks Master Composters provide advice and encouragement to people who want to start composting, or help those already doing so to compost more effectively.
The Master Composter scheme is open to everyone. No previous experience of gardening or composting is required - just enthusiasm and an interest in composting.
We provide a free two day training course which covers home composting in depth and an overview of Buckinghamshire’s waste management.
A comprehensive support package will be available to volunteers once the training is completed to help you in your activities. One benefit of this support package is free membership of Garden Organic.
