Come along and watch a class to get a taste of what you can learn with Dragon Spirit Ju Jitsu!
Discover a Japanese martial art ideal for men, women, young people and children of all ages who want to learn practical self defense techniques in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
You can learn how to:
- land safely
- block a punch
- kick effectively
- throw and take down an attacker
- escape from grabs and holds
- defend yourself from an armed assailent
You can increase your fitness levels, confidence and make new friends in addition have the opportunity to learn with traditional Japanese weaponry (foam-versions only for under 16's) in this welcoming, friendly club.
We welcome children from the age of 7 years, and men and women of all ages. Junior classes are for children aged 7 - 15, and our adults is 16 years plus.
There is no obligation to sign up as a member for your first lesson; you are invited to watch a class in session, then join in for a few weeks before you make up your mind as to whether we are the right club for you. There is no charge for spectators.
All our instructors are CRB checked, insured, and trained in First Aid. Dragon Spirit Ju Jitus is a member of the World Ju Jitsu Federation, the world's largest Ju Jitsu organisation. Your membership and belt grade will be valid in any WJJF dojo wherever you are in the world.
Junior Class
Wednesday: 7pm - 8pm at Oakfield Scout Hall, Oakfield Road, Aylesbury
Friday: (term time only) 7pm - 7.45pm and 7.45pm - 8.30pm at Bearbrook Combined School, Fowler Road, Aylesbury
Cost: £3 per lesson
Senior Class
Wednesday: 8pm - 9pm at Oakfield Scout Hall, Oakfield Road, Aylesbury
Friday: (term time only) 8.30pm - 9.30pm at Bearbrook Combined School, Fowler Road, Aylesbury
Cost: £3.50 per lesson
