Air Cadets
Ages 13 - 18 years. (Maximum age for newcomers is 16 years, 9 months.)
Military youth organisation so high standards are maintained and expected from its members. Potential cadets are welcome to visit with their parent or guardian, and are under no obligation to join. (This is not a recruitment organisation for the RAF in case you have any concerns.)
Learn to fly aerobatics, lead expeditions, target shooting, joing a band, and learn about aviation and aerospace.
Open to boys and girls, and even those with disabilities. Blind cadets and those in wheelchairs rank among their members! However, please note that some activities may be restricted for safety reasons. Please check with your local squadron that they can accommodate your needs.

Archaeology
For the budding historian or archaelogist in the family, how about getting involved with the Bucks Archaeological Society? Talks and excursions on various aspects of history in Buckinghamshire. Army Cadets
Adventure, develop your leadership skills, teamwork, expedition training, competitive sports, self-discipline, learn new skills, and more. Weekend and summer camps.
Open to 12 - 18 year olds, boys and girls. (Please note that 12 year olds must be in Year 8 of school.) One of the biggest youth organisations in the country. Also has opportunities for young adults as youth leaders.
Buckinghamshire Headquarters are based in Aylesbury, with many groups throughout the county. Please check the website to find one local to you.

Children as young as five can learn this wonderful game and build on their fine motor skills, and learn to think logically and problem solve. Enter competitions or play for fun. The Young Magicans Club is the junior branch of The Magic Circle, the world's premier magicians society, open to 10 - 18 year olds. Bi-monthly magazines and invitations to hands-on workshops with some of the best magicians in the world. Enter competitions and learn to become a truely professional magician! Junior members also get a reduced fee upon entrance to The Magic Circle itself when they turn 18.
