T & T News - Winter 2011 edition now available on-line

The winter 2011 edition of T & T News is now available on-line. You can download your copy from the "Our Files" tab where previous editions are also available. The printed edition of the magazine will be distributed to around 3500 homes and businesses in Totteridge and Terriers from Saturday 3rd December 2011.

Steve Baker defies whip in commons vote

Our local MP Steve Baker was one of 81 Conservative MP's who defied the whip and voted in favour of holding a referendum on this country's membership of the European Union. Steve Baker said " I know many people are concerned at the unfolding events in Europe, and the possible effect these will have on Britain and its economy. I can assure you that the party is united in its desire to find a new relationship with the European Union, and a belief that the present system is unsustainable". (19-11-11)

T & T News receives donation from Totteridge Community Centre

T & T News has this week received a welcome donation of £150 from Totteridge Community Centre towards publishing the community magazine. David Winterburn, Editor said "The magazine is now in its fifth year and without support from organisations such as the Totteridge Community Centre we would find it very difficult to continue". The donation will help ensure that T & T News can continue to publish a community magazine in the Totteridge & Terriers communities and is one of two community publications that cover the catchment area of the Totteridge Community Centre. Totteridge Community Centre up for award

The Totteridge Community Centre has been nominated for a community champions award. The centre expects to hear if they have been sucessful on 2nd November (19-10-11) 

T & T News - Autumn 2011

The autumn edtion of T & T News has now been distributed and is also available to download or view in the "Our Files" section as a PDF document.. The winter magazine will be out soon so now is the time to prepare your articles to be included in the next edition. If you are a member of a local group or organisation and have an event or news then let us know so we can let the wider community know gaining you publicity. Our deadline for the winter edition of the community magazine is Sunday 20th November 2011. Our events pages are regularly updated. If you have an event taking place then let us know so we can add it to the diary. This is your 'space' to let everyone know about whats happening and attract additional visitors. The events diary was last updated on 27th November 2011. 

Volunteers Needed

If you would like to help with distribution of Totteridge & Terrriers News then we would like to hear from you. We currently have several roads where we could do with an extra pair of hands. The magazine is distributed in the early part of the month in March, June, September and December each year. You do not need a lot of time and as a guide between 60 & 100 copies depending on dwelling type can be delivered in an hour. A couple of hours of time four times a year is all we need and there is up to two weeks delivery time giving total flexability.
