On Sunday 9th November a short ceremony will be held at the hall at 10:45am to mark the 90th anniversary of the end of the first wold war and to honour those from the village who are named on the memorial tablets on the hall. Earl Howe will lay a wreath and this will be followed by an open social in the hall where a small exhibition on "Winchmore Hill 100 years ago" will take place together with details of all the brave men from the village who fought and died in the war. All are welcome.
