Welcome to the Woburn Sands Bowls Club Web Site
The Club is situated in the centre of Woburn Sands behind the Greens Hotel, our friendly and competitive club offers a welcoming atmosphere with superb on and off green facilities for both new and experienced bowlers alike. We have full summer fixtures and winter social events.
The club was founded in 1922 as a men’s club, in 1958 a ladies section was formed and in 1999 we became a fully integrated mixed club. We enter teams in many ladies and men’s competitions. We also have a healthy fixture list for ladies, men’s and mixed friendly matches. Teams for competitive matches are picked by elected selection committees but friendly matches are open to all.
Coaching is available
We are affiliated to the Buckinghamshire Bowls Association and Bowls England.
CLUB OPEN DAY
“Woburn Sands Bowls Club is holding an open afternoon on Saturday 14th May between 10am and 4pm anyone who would like to try the game are invited to come along . Just turn up on the day with a pair of flat shoes and give it a go. Club coaches and members will be on hand to offer advice and assistance."
