Club Presentation Evening 2011
The Club Presentation Evening will be held on the 22nd October at 7.30 p.m. See sheet for member’s names on the club notice board for those wishing to attend. If you would like to attend this popular event, please make sure to add your name by Friday14th October.
Annual General Meeting - 2011
The AGM will be held in the Club House on Saturday 5th November 2011 at 10.15.
Anyone wishing to propose a discussion item for the agenda should please notify the Secretary in writing by the 24th October, items for the agenda cannot be taken after this date. Remember we do not have an ‘any other business’ as an agenda item, so if you wish to raise a matter for discussion, please do so by making a proposal.

Sunday 6th September 2009
Woburn Sands Bowls Club gained a double victory in the finals. In the Bucks County Plate final, WSBC played Slough Bowls Club with WSBC being the winners 70-49. Many spectators watched this special triples match played on an excellent green. The highest winning rink for WSBC was Dave McGarragh, Jim Holtom and Russell Tucker (skip) 23-8.
In the afternoon a team from WSBC played a Chesham Bowls Club team in The Benevolent Triples final, which WSBC won 17-13. The game was very close with only 2 shots between the teams during the whole game. The team from WSBC being Jim Holtom, Barry Wilson and Russell Tucker (skip).
